Description
The visit, led by guides of Opera del Duomo, will take place at the base of the Cupola, in a reserved area closed to the public in the Cathedral from where you will be able to admire the interior structure of the Cupola in its full wideness.
The guided tour to Brunellleschi’s masterpiece will take about 30 minutes and will end with climbing up to the very top of this monument on your own.
The same ticket will allow you to visit the other monuments of the square, by your own (without the guide) within the 3 calendar days of validity of the ticket.
NB. The Baptistery is undergoing restoration works of the mosaics of the vault, which are not visible.

GUIDED TOUR IN ENGLISH
Meeting point: in front of the entrance of “Porta dei Cornacchini”, north side of the Cathedral, 15 minutes before the starting time of the visit.
The visit will begin with a brief presentation of the construction of the Cathedral and then continue inside. For the visit it is necessary to have appropriate clothing for places of worship. Visitors will access to the monuments exclusively without luggage: it is MANDATORY to leave suitcases, backpacks, parcels, containers and large and medium-sized bags in the Luggage Storage, in Piazza Duomo 38r.
This visit is not recommended for people suffering from claustrophobia, vertigo and for pregnant women. The climbing consists of 463 steps. The tour starts at the time written on the ticket. Duration of visit: 30 minutes ca.
Punctuality is required to grant everyone the best experience. A delay of 5 minutes is allowed.
None of the admission tickets are refundable. The reservation cannot be changed.
