From Monday to Saturday: 10:15 am – 3:45 pm.
Sundays & religious celebrations: closed, due to worship. Closed on Saturday 27 September.
No ticket required: free access.
NB. Visitors are reminded that appropriate clothing for a place of worship is required to enter the Cathedral: entry is not permitted with flip-flops, bare shoulders, or legs uncovered above the knee.
BAPTISTERY
Open every day: 8:30 am - 7:30 pm.
NB. Baptistery closes at 1:30 pm on every first Sunday of the month.
NB. Visitors are advised that the Baptistery is undergoing restoration of the mosaics of the vault, which are not visible.

MUSEUM
Open every day: 8:30 am - 7:00 pm.

BELL TOWER

NB. Holders of Giotto Pass must access the time slot chosen at the time of purchase just to climb Giotto's Bell Tower.
Holders of the Brunelleschi Pass are exempt from this rule: the access to Giotto’s Bell Tower is guaranteed anytime within the 3-days validity of the ticket, without time-slot booking.
NB. From 10 to 14 November, 2025, the Bell Tower will be closed due to maintenance work.
DOME
From Monday to Friday: 8:15 am - 6:45 pm (last slot)
Saturday: 8:15 am - 4:30 pm (last slot)
Sunday & public holidays: 12:45 pm - 4:30 pm (last slot)
NB. From 17 to 21 November, 2025, the Dome will be closed due to maintenance work.
SANTA REPARATA
From Monday to Saturday: 10:15 am - 4:00 pm.
Sunday & religious celebrations: 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm
NB. Holders of Ghiberti Pass must access to Santa Reparata at the time-slot chosen at the moment of purchase.
Holders of Brunelleschi & Giotto Pass are exempt from this rule: the access to Santa Reparata is guaranteed anytime within the 3-days validity of the ticket, without time-slot booking.

- The 3 Passes are valid for 3 calendar days starting from midnight of the day selected for the visit. For Brunelleschi Pass' owners only to access the Dome it is mandatory to respect the chosen date & time. Reservations cannot be changed.
- The validity of Brunelleschi Pass starts from the date selected for the visit to the Dome, which must be on the first day. The same rule applies to Giotto Pass (with Bell Tower time-slot) and Ghiberti Pass (with Santa Reparata time-slot).
- The entrance to the Cathedral is free, without ticket.
- Holders of a ticket must leave their baggages inside the Luggage Storage (Piazza Duomo no. 38/r) before entering any of the monuments. The service is free of charge.
