N.B. Due to worship on Sunday and religious celebrations the Cathedral is closed to visitors.

A full experience of the monuments of Piazza del Duomo!

Brunelleschi Pass includes access to all monuments of Piazza del Duomo allowing visitors a complete experience with a single ticket: the Baptistery of San Giovanni, Giotto's Bell Tower, Brunelleschi's Dome, the Opera del Duomo Museum and the ancient basilica of Santa Reparata. The validity starts from the date selected for the visit to the Dome.

Validity:

The monuments included in Brunelleschi Pass can be visited within 3 calendar days from the date selected without time constraints. Only to access the Dome it is mandatory to respect the chosen date and time-slot.

Brunelleschi’s Dome
• Entry to Brunelleschi's Dome from Porta della Mandorla (North side of the Cathedral). Visitors are required to climb 463 steps. No lifts (elevators) are available.
• The climb is strongly NOT recommended for people with cardiovascular, respiratory diseases, vertigo, claustrophobia, and pregnant women.
• Minors (<18) cannot access without an adult.
The start time of the visit to the Dome is the one selected at the time of purchase and shown on the ticket. Punctuality is required to allow all visitors the best experience.
• 5 minutes of delay are allowed, compared to the starting time of the visit.
• It's recommend a visit of 45-60 minutes approx. for the Dome.

NB. Visitors who climb the Dome and the Bell Tower, before entering, must MANDATORY leave inside the Luggage Storage (Piazza Duomo n. 38/r) suitcases, backpacks, parcels, containers and large and medium-sized bags and other types of objects (the complete regulation here). Visitors who present themselves at the entrance with objects prohibited by the regulation will not be able to enter.

NB. If on the selected date in the calendar the slots are gray with a 0 it means that the places are already sold out. There are no further availability on site. You must change date or slot to find availability.

NBFrom Monday 6 May, maintenance work on the Porta della Mandorla will begin with the door closed for a month. For the duration of the activity, access to the Dome will be moved to the 'Porta dei Cornacchini'.

Giotto’s Bell Tower
• The ascent consists on foot along a stairway of 414 steps and there is no lift.
• The climb is strongly NOT recommended for people with cardiovascular, respiratory diseases, vertigo, claustrophobia, and pregnant women.
• Minors (<18) cannot access without an adult.
• The recommended duration for the visit is approximately 45 minutes

Baptistery
• Access from the North Door (Martelli street side).
• Appropriate clothing is required for a place of worship: access is not permitted with bare legs and shoulders, wearing sandals or hats.
• The recommended duration for the visit is approximately 30 minutes.

DM. Every first Sunday of the month the Baptistery will close at 2.00 pm. 

DM. Visitors are advised that the Baptistery is undergoing restoration of the mosaics of the vault.

Opera del Duomo Museum
• Access from Piazza del Duomo n. 9.
• The Museum consists of 28 rooms distributed on three floors that can be accessed with stairways or elevators.
• The recommended duration for the visit is approximately 60 minutes.

DM. The Museum is closed every first Tuesday of the month.

Santa Reparata
• Access from the Cathedral “Porta Campanile” (south side, beside the Bell Tower entrance).
• Visitors arrive to Santa Reparata by going down a short staircase in the second bay of the right aisle of the Cathedral.
• The recommended duration for the visit is about 30 minutes.
